This mini-course, taught by Rabbi Laibson, will survey the most important Jewish religious texts that have established the foundation of our religion.

Students will learn about Torah, Bible, Mishnah, Talmud and Codes, how to "read" them, how they build upon one another and how they are linked by tradition.

Excerpts will be examined in English, with a mind toward appreciating how these texts can have meaning in our own lives.
